Yes! We set them all the time, absolutely not a problem. We do require the code and code word in the event the alarm went off.
Happy Tails FAQ's
Absolutely! You can call text or email at any time. You can even receive updates via email, text or call. Just ask!
Well, there are a few things you should know before you make that decision. First, if anyone enters the home while you are away that is not an Always Happy Tails employee the Insurance is null and void. If something were to happen to your pet(s) under your friends watch, it would not be covered under the insurance policy. If anything were to be missing It becomes a “he said/she said” type of situation. Second, when someone other than an Always Happy Tails pet sitter enters your home, there is no log of it. We keep a detailed communication log of your pet(s) activity, potty habits, mood and eating habits and so on. If your ‘friend’ came over in the middle of the day we wouldn’t know if little “peanut” did his business so to speak and we have to be aware for possible…
99% NO! The only reason there is 1% left is due to some clients inviting them to come along. Always Happy Tails prefers to not bring any children with them. Do you know how hard it is to walk 2 energy filled labs with a three year old?!?!?! Very hard, lol! Always Happy Tails knows it is much easier and less stressful when kids don’t accompany us on visits. No worries!
Yes! However we do prefer to come at least twice. 24 hours is a really a long time to go with just one hug! We would love to check on your ‘fur-babies’ at least twice a day with a doggie door for potty breaks.
So sorry but no! For pups who are outside and that is their normal everyday routine we will come once a day. Always Happy Tails prefers twice but will ultimately do what is best for the ‘fur-kids’. Cats, as self sufficient as they are, still will be visited at a minimum of once a day. We do not do every other day service. This goes for all pets, caged and free to roam. It’s dangerous and the insurance company would not cover it should something happen. We wouldn’t want “mittens” to get stuck somewhere and not get help for days!!!!!
I’m sorry but no! There are a few reasons why. First, you honestly do let your pup (s) out more than twice a day. Normally in the morning, in the afternoon or after work and before bed. Asking them to “hold it” for 12 to 15 hours is unfair to them and the pet sitter. The pet gets stressed and that will result in accidents or destructive behavior. Also the pet sitter will spend most of their time cleaning up instead of lovin’ and exercise. Second, the insurance company would not cover anything due to inadequate care(less than 3 visits a day). Indoor pups are allowed 8 to 10 hours between each visit. This has proven to be perfect for most pups, however we do have some homes who prefer 4 visits a day and that’s great too!
Absolutely! Always Happy Tails is fully insured. As long as your fur-kids are in our care, custody and control they are well taken care of.
